Your Library Card

The only thing you need to unlock a world of discovery.
Who can get a card

Residents of the Oregon Trail Library District (people living within Boardman, Heppner or Irrigon) may obtain a free library card.  Anyone living outside of the library district may apply for a non-resident library card for an annual fee of $25.00 per year.

How to get your card

Bring your ID (Oregon driver's license, Oregon ID card, or birth certificate) or recent proof of address (a rent receipt, utility bill, or telephone bill) postmarked within the last 30 days to a library during regular business hours and fill out a library card application.

Borrowing limits

Please bring your library card to the library to check out materials.

Placing holds

Holds may be placed online by patrons using the online catalog.  Search the catalog, and when you find an item, click the request button.  You will be prompted to enter your  library card number and PIN. The PIN is used for security and privacy purposes and it is recommended that it be treated as any other PIN number.

Click on the submit button to send your request.

Renewing your borrowed items

Patrons may renew materials online using the online catalog.  Go to Your Library Account from the homepage.  You will be prompted to enter your library card number and PIN.  At this point you will be able to modify your PIN, see which items you currently have checked out,  renew and view or cancel holds.

Library fines

Overdue fines are twenty cents per item per day for all materials.  Overdue materials from other libraries will have fines charged according to the owning library's policies.
